Slow No Wake Discontinued for Lake Waubesa and Lake Monona’s Squaw Bay

Dane County will lift the Slow/No Wake orders for Lake Waubesa and Lake Monona’s Squaw Bay at sunrise, Saturday (tomorrow).

 

Lake Waubesa and Lake Monona’s Squaw Bay had been put under Slow/No Wake orders this summer after periods of heavy rains. Recent drier weather has helped lake levels decline.

 

Due to high water levels, a Slow/No Wake order remains in effect for Crystal Lake in northern Dane County.

 

Boaters are reminded that all of the lakes in the Yahara Chain of Lakes have permanent, year-round 200-feet from shore Slow/No Wake restrictions.
