Madison – Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk today released a letter sent to Governor Jim Doyle, urging him to veto a bill (AB 347) that would allow publicly-owned property -- including public parks -- to be condemned by a public utility for construction of transmission lines. Falk and Bill Lunney, Chair of the Dane County Parks Commission signed the letter. The text of the letter is attached. - more -
