MADISON – Dane County Executive Joe Parisi released the following statement:

 

“The tragedy in Ferguson demonstrates a great division that exists in our society – a division in which some people feel part of system they trust to treat them fairly, while others experience a system that feels stacked against them – one in which the color of a person’s skin can dictate their experience.  

 

“In Dane County we are committed to facing these challenges head on by acknowledging their existence and working to insure that all of our citizens have equal access to the promise of America.”
