County Exec Joe Parisi Statement on Marriage Equality in Wisconsin

MADISON:  Today after the US Supreme Court turned away an appeal of the federal decision backing marriage equality in five states including Wisconsin, Dane County Executive Joe Parisi issued the following statement:

“Today’s news that paves the way for marriage equality to be the law in Wisconsin  is long-awaited and a great way to start our week. Love wins in Wisconsin and those who were fighting so hard to stop same-sex couples from getting married are now proven to be on the wrong side of the law, as well as the wrong side of history.”
