Falk to Appear at Open House for First City-County Facility Serving Families in Southwest Madison

Site houses CDA’s Southwest Resource Center and County’s Joining Forces for Families office Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk will join City of Madison officials and area residents at an open house for the new Southwest Resource Center.on Thursday, May 29, at 3:30 p.m., at 6401 Hammersley Road in Madison. A brief program will be held. This is the first city-county jointly operated facility serving families in Madison. The center, which is located in a Madison Community Development Authority duplex, will house City of Madison public health nurses, a Community Action Coalition housing counselor and a Dane County Human Services Department’s Joining Forces for Families (JFF) location. The new center will provide area residents access to a variety of city and county services that support and strengthen children and families. # # #
