Pick-up vs School Bus Crash

At 1:59 pm, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a pick-up vs. school bus crash on CTH TT at Garden Ct. in the town of Sun Prairie.

The school bus was eastbound on TT and had stopped at Garden Ct., with the stop sign of the bus extended, when a Chevrolet pick-up truck rear-ended the bus. The 21-year-old driver of the pick-up truck had to be extricated from his vehicle and was transported by Med-Flight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. 

The school bus driver was not injured. The Sheriff’s Office was unable to confirm whether any children were on the bus at the time of the crash; however, no other injuries were reported.

CTH TT is currently closed in both directions. The crash is under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
