Fatal Crash

 

Madison, WI- On Sunday, September 29, 2024 at approximately 12:10 A.M., Dane County Sheriff’s deputies, Waunakee Police, and Waunakee Fire and EMS responded to a fatal rollover crash on Schumacher Road, just south of Cuba Valley Road in the Town of Vienna.  

 

The driver and lone occupant had been ejected from the vehicle. The 30-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Crash reconstruction experts from the Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate, which closed Schumacher road for approximately five and a half hours.

 

The man’s identity will be released by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office at a later date. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
