Arrest Made After Shots Are Fired in Town of Blooming Grove

At 5:00 pm on Monday, August 5th, Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of shots fired on the 4100 block of Milwaukee Street in the town of Blooming Grove.
It was reported that a male operating a white Mercedes cargo van fired a shot at the occupants of an Audi Q8. Both drivers left the scene, but deputies did recover evidence of the crime. Flock cameras were used to locate the suspect’s vehicle, and with the assistance of Sun Prairie Police Officers, Ramone Davis, age 39 of Sun Prairie, was taken into custody inside a business on S. Grand Avenue in Sun Prairie.
Davis is currently being held in the Dane County Jail on tentative 1st Degree Reckless Endangering Safety and Felon in Possession of a Firearm charges. The shooting remains under investigation by the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
